Zesty Sparkling Lemonade Mocktail
With a perfect balance of bubbly and sweetness, this Sparkling Lemonade Mocktail is a must try! Fresh lemons are paired with mint leaves and club soda for one refreshing drink giving Mojito vibes without the alcohol.

I first started making mocktails for my daughter when she was younger. I used to use 7-Up but noticed it was just an overkill on the sugar. Club soda and filtered water gives this sparkling lemonade recipe a nice balance.

How to make a Sparkling Lemonade Mocktail
Step One: Start with slicing the lemons in half and juicing them. I use a juicer that is attached to a small glass bowl that catches the seeds and pulp.
Step Two: Take the juice and strain it into a pitcher. This way you remove any remaining seeds.
Step Three: Pour in the filtered water and the sugar. Give it a stir with a large spoon.

Step Four: Add the ice cubes.
Step Five: Divide among 4 glasses and top with club soda. Add a generous amount of the mint into the glasses and serve immediately.
Storing Sparkling Lemonade
Store the lemon sugar mixture (without the club soda or the ice) in a covered pitcher in the fridge for up to 2 days.

Helpful tips for this Sparkling Lemonade recipe
- If you prefer your sparkling lemonade to be more tart, use ¼-½ sugar only. Always taste as you go – that way you aren’t overloading it with sugar.
- Serve cold- the colder the better and make sure the club soda is cold.
- If serving for a party, serve in a small punch bowl, drink dispenser or in a large pitcher. Garnish with lemon slices or mint ice cubes for an impressive drink presentation.

FAQ
Yes- add 1-2 ounces of either gin or vodka. Vodka will give it a Lemon Drop feel and gin will pair perfectly with the mint and citrus.
Can I make this drink without sugar?
Yes- try it with monk fruit or stevia. Agave, maple syrup or honey works as well.
Any kind works and also plain/unflavored sparkling water like La Croix.
Yes- just add the ice and club soda right before serving so that it doesn’t dilute it and the bubbly will be fresh.
