Instructions
Start with slicing the lemons in half and juicing them. I use a juicer that is attached to a small glass bowl that catches the seeds and pulp.
Take the juice and strain it into a pitcher. This way you remove any remaining seeds.
Pour in the filtered water and the sugar. Give it a stir with a large spoon.
Add the ice cubes.
Divide among 4 glasses and top with club soda. Add a generous amount of the mint into the glasses and serve immediately.
Notes
Notes:Storing: Store the lemon sugar mixture (without the club soda or the ice) in a covered pitcher in the fridge for up to 2 days.Helpful tips: If you prefer your sparkling lemonade to be more tart, use ¼-½ sugar only. Always taste as you go - that way you aren't overloading it with sugar. Serve cold- the colder the better and make sure the club soda is cold. If serving for a party, serve in a small punch bowl, drink dispenser or in a large pitcher. Garnish with lemon slices or mint ice cubes for an impressive drink presentation. If you’re trying to stay organized with meal planning this month, I’ve been using Meals Hero (affiliate link) to save and plan recipes in one place.
