Traditional Sangria is made with red or white wine and is mixed with fruits and spices. In my alcohol-free version, I’m replacing wine with fruit juice.

This White Sangria Mocktail is fun to make, especially with kids. I used to mix up different versions of this when she was a kid. She would sip hers out of fancy glass and feel like the coolest kid on the block.

Why this recipe works

Ingredients for this Non Alcoholic White Sangria recipe

Ingredients for a white sangria mocktail are arranged on a marble surface: a peach, Cara Cara orange, lemon, club soda, measuring cup of white cran-peach juice, and a plate of sugar, each labeled.
  • Cara oranges. These big and juicy oranges are perfect for this Sangria Mocktail, offering a refreshing flavor.
  • Lemon wedges.
  • Sliced peaches. You will use slices to muddle plus add some to your glass.
  • Club soda. You can use plain sparkling water too.
  • White Cran Peach Juice. The juice doesn’t have to be fancy. I use Kroger or Ocean Spray.
  • Ice cubes. Crushed ice will work also.
  • Granulated sugar. You can add some for sweetening ( I don’t think it needs it) plus more for the sugar rim.
  • Rosemary sprigs. This is an optional garnish (but really pretty!)

How to make this White Sangria Mocktail

Step One: Add ice to the shaker. Squeeze the lemon juice on top of the ice. With that lemon wedge, run it around the rim of the glass and coat the rim with sugar.

Step Two: Squeeze the oranges into the shaker and put the orange wedges into the cocktail glass.

Step Three: Add one peach slice to the shaker and the rest to the cocktail glass. Muddle the peaches.

Two top-down images: the first shows a bowl of sugar, a metal cup with ice, and a glass of water on marble; the second shows a white sangria mocktail in a glass with peach slices and a metal cup with ice and grapefruit slices.

Step Four: Add the fruit juice, club soda and sugar (if using). Shake well and then pour it into the cocktail glass. Garnish with rosemary sprigs and enjoy immediately.

A sugar rim is a classic garnish but it’s optional. To sugar the rim, place sugar on a small plate. Take a orange or lemon wedge and run it around the glass. Dip the glass onto the sugared plate.

Serving suggestions

This refreshing non-alcoholic drink is great during the holidays or even in the summer to cool down.

If you’re wondering if this White Sangria Mocktail can be made with liquor, the answer is yes! If you would like to keep this as a mocktail then you will love it and not miss the liquor. But if you would like to serve this at a gathering and people would like a mixed drink, then add 1 ounce of light colored liquor such as vodka. Or you can use white wine in addition to the juice.

Mocktails are perfect for people who are expecting, under age or simply don’t want or like alcohol.
