Welcome! My name is Kristina and I’m so grateful you’re here!

Hello from the beautiful (and not always rainy) Seattle! 😜 I’m Kristina, and I’m so happy you’re here.

Let me introduce myself: I’m a wife, a mom (dog mom, too!), a Food and Wellness Blogger, and a Food Photographer. My passion for cooking, health, and helping others on their wellness journey is at the heart of everything I do.

Over the years, I’ve lost over 75 pounds naturally and kept it off for over 18 years (you can read my full story here). But like many, life sometimes gets off track. Recently, I found myself facing new health challenges, including a pre-diabetes diagnosis, which has motivated me to refocus on my wellness journey. Now, I’m on a mission to reverse my pre-diabetes, lower my cholesterol, and get back into the best shape of my life—starting with the food I create and share.

In my spare time, I love working out, exploring new neighborhoods and cities, and spending quality time with my family (while, of course, enjoying delicious food!).

How it all started:

My love for cooking began way back in 8th grade during a home economics class, where I made my first dish: an omelette. I don’t remember all the ingredients, but I do remember the feeling of creating something with my own hands. From that moment, I was hooked! Even though my mom was convinced I’d burn down the house (cue the constant stove checks 😆), my passion for cooking grew from there.

How it’s going:

Fast forward to today: I graduated from Culinary School at the Art Institute of Seattle, I own a double oven (every meal prepper’s dream), and I’ve spent the last couple of years diving deep into food photography and starting my business. This blog is a reflection of my journey—both in the kitchen and in life.
