What Kind of Bread Should I Use

You can use any store bought white gluten free bread. I like to use Trader Joe’s because their bread has a more dryer texture. I use their bread not only for breadcrumbs but also for baking off homemade croutons.

I use dried seasonings such as garlic powder, paprika, oregano and dried basil. You can also add onion powder, cayenne, black pepper or use your favorite spice blend.

Do I Need to Toast My Bread

You can place them in the oven if you like to have them toasted. My Gluten Free Bread Crumbs Recipe doesn’t require baking. You can use bread that is room temperature. I like to put my bread in the fridge to mainstain it’s freshness a little longer. So I am using cold bread and also because the bread is cold, it’s a little more firm.

How Long Does This Take to Make

With using using store bought bread- you will have this prepped in no time! This should take you between 10-15 minutes to make! The prep time consists of grabbing the spices and your bread, adding it to your food processor and then pulsing until you get coarse bread crumbs.
