My Avocado Cottage Cheese Dip is both effortless to make and refreshing. Made with lowfat cottage cheese, fresh cilantro, lemon juice and creamy avocado, this dip is a must try. This dip will make store bought dips a thing of the past.
Place all of the ingredients into a food processor.
Blend until smooth -about 2 minutes.
Adjust salt if needed. Transfer into a container and place it in the fridge for about 30 minutes to allow the flavors to blend. Serve with your favorite veggies or pita bread.
Notes
Notes:Storing : Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2-3 days.Helpful tips:
Use ripe avocados: Soft avocados will give the best texture.
Adjust the acidity: Start out with half of the lemon juice and add more if you prefer.
Make ahead: This will give the flavors time to settle in. Experiment with flavor: Try adding a touch of cumin or other herbs like basil, dill or parsley.
