Who can say no to bite-sized pieces of juicy steak?! My 10 Minute Garlic Steak Bites is a simple stove top recipe that is great as a main dish or as a tasty appetizer. Tender beef cubes are amazing on top of a greek salad, zucchini noodles, crusty bread or with rice.
Start with adding the extra virgin olive oil to a large pan over medium low heat. Add the beef cubes ( but avoid over crowding the pan). Season with salt and pepper. Sear until done- about 4-5 minutes at max and then remove from the heat and transfer to a plate.
Add the butter to the pan and the garlic. Cook the garlic for 1 minute ( watching the garlic to make sure ot doesn't burn) and then add the steak back in along with any juices from the plate.
Stir to combine the buttery garlic sauce to coat the steak and then toss in the fresh herbs and finish with a squeeze of lemon juice. Adjust salt if needed. Make sure all the steak bites are coated evenly with the melted butter. Serve immediately.
Notes
Notes:Storing leftovers: Store any leftover steak bites in an airtight container for up to 3 days in the fridge. Use a lean, thick cut of steak such as filet mignon, top sirloin or ribeye steak. For a better sear and the best results, make sure the pan is warmed up and only add in a single layer of steak, being sure not to over crowd the pan.Steak bites can be prepared in an air fryer or using an indoor grill pan. If using a grill pan, marinate the steak cubes in the olive oil, lemon, herbs and garlic for about 30 minutes. Place the steak cubes on skewers and you can also add vegetables to the end of the skewers. Add salt after you cook the skewers. Garlic beef tips cook fast so you want to be careful not to overcook them as they seem tough and dried out.
