Here's what you need

Ingredients  – Yummy salmon. – Garlic seasoning. – Kosher salt. (if your garlic seasoning contains salt, then you may need adjust how much additional salt is needed) – Freshly ground black pepper.  – Red Onion. – Fresh dill. – Lemon juice.  – Extra virgin olive oil.  – Honey.

Step 1

Preheat the oven. Whether you want to filet your fish or keep it whole is up to you. You will want to prepare your salmon fillets by checking for bones. I normally purchase my fish from Trader Joe's or Costco. It is already filleted however sometimes there are a few bones in it. You can remove them with tweezers.

Step 2

Place the salmon on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Add the spices and layer with the red onion and dill on the top. Then you want to sqeeze the lemon juice all over the top. Lastly, drizzle the oil olive and honey on top.

Step 3

The salmon only needs to bake for about 15 minutes. The total cook time will depend on the thickness of the fish. When done, salmon will be an opaque color. It will also be flaky. The internal temp should be 145 degrees.

Other ways to cook Salmon: You can use a grill for this healthy salmon recipe. Place the salmon in tin foil packets before placing on the grill. Another idea is that you can prepare a one pan sheet pan meal by adding the salmon filets along with your favorite veggies and baking them together.
