My Sheet-Pan Honey Salmon with Sweet Potatoes and Broccoli is perfect for any night of the week. Filled with heart-healthy omega-3s, these salmon fillets make one flavorful meal that the whole family will love. No need to fear busy weeknights with this tasty and satisfying dish!
This delicious meal has minimal prep time and the cooking time is under 30 minutes. All you need for equipment is a brush, baking sheet and parchment paper. There is a lot of health benefits of salmon, broccoli and sweet potatoes. It’s wonderful for a quick meal prep.
1. Start with preheating the oven to 425 degrees. Line a large sheet pan with parchment paper or aluminum foil. 2. Place salmon in the center of the prepared sheet pan. Scatter the diced sweet potatoesand broccoli around the fish in a single layer.
3. Season everything with the garlic powder, salt and pepper. Drizzle the olive oil on top the salmon and the sweet potatoes and broccoli. 4. In a small dish, mix the mustard with the honey and brush the salmon gently with the mixture. If you have left over glaze, gently brush some on the sweet potatoes and broccoli.
5. Place the sliced lemons on top, giving them a little sqeeze to release the juices. Sprinkle the sesame seeds on top of the salmon. 6. Let the salmon cook for 25 minutes or until salmon is opaque and sweet potatoes are tender.
Helpful tips: You don’t want to overcrowd the sheet pan. Overcrowding will the food to cook unevenly. For easy clean up, use parchment paper. Make sure the salmon is right around a pound and keep the salmon whole. Dinner ideas are endless with sheet pan recipes!
