Simple Guacamole Recipe

Everyone needs a homemade guacamole recipe in their life! My Super Easy 4-Ingredient Guacamole with No Tomatoes is delicious and simple. Enjoy this as a great appetizer with tortilla chips, on top of your favorite bread for avocado toast or as a tasty garnish on top of burrito bowls or any of your favorite main dishes.

Reasons you will love this dish:

This healthy guacamole recipe has a creamy texture and uses simple ingredients. And the best part, this guacamole dip has minimal prep time!

Ingredients: - Ripe hass avocados. – Red onion.  – Fresh lime juice. – Cumin. – Kosher salt. (Ok this is technically 5 ingredients but salt is a pantry staple!) A pinch of salt will balance out the acidity of the lime juice.

1. Cut the avocados in half and using a spoon, scoop the flesh of the avocados into a medium size mixing bowl. Begin to mash with a potato masher or fork.

2. Add the chopped onion, cumin and lime juice.

3. Continue to mix well. Season with salt if desired.

4. Serve with vegetables, chips or use a garnish on top of your favorite tacos or other food.

Tips: All delicious guacamole starts with creamy avocados. Most often times, local stores sell unripe avocados. The best way to know if they are ripe is to give them a gentle squeeze. If they are hard, then it can take 1-2 days for the ripening process to happen. For best results, store the unripe avocados in a brown paper bag at room temperature. If you add an apple to the brown bag, that speeds up the process more as it releases a gas. The perfect avocado will have nice green flesh and a slight nutty flavor to it with minimal brown spots.
