Healthy Dessert Recipe: Fruit Pizza Without Cream Cheese 

Easy Fruit Pizza Without Cream Cheese– inspired by what else but Summer! You will love this delicious fruit pizza recipe because it uses fresh fruit, is extremely easy to make using a puff pastry and the topping is dairy free! This is the best fruit pizza for all special occasions such as a summer baby shower,  BBQ’s, Easter, and Mother’s Day Brunch and Father’s Day Cookouts! Whatever the occasion is , this dessert pizza is great for a crowd!

A store bought puff pastry makes baking this dessert super simple. Also a nice alternative to this fruit pizza is that it doesn’t use cream cheese icing. Lemon curd with a sweet layer of strawberry jam is the hero here and then it’s topped with a variety of fruit!

Ingredients: – 1 package puff pastry – lemon curd store (store bought or homemade will work) – strawberry jam – kiwi fruit – blueberries – strawberries – blackberries

1. First you will start with preparing the puff pastry. Take it out of the package, unroll it and keep it on the parchment paper. Though I noted baking instructions below, you can also follow the baking instructions on the package, especially if it differs. One thing I did do and I suggest- is to cut the dough with a paring knife into 9 slices and then make an inner indent so it creates a little defined crust to each piece.

2. Then you will bake the puff pastry. 3. While that bakes, wash and cut up the fruit, keeping them in uniform size.

4. To assemble the fruit pizza, start by spreading the strawberry jam in each middle rectangle and repeat it with the lemon curd. Spread the fresh fruit toppings evenly among the crust, with a couple of slices of fruit to each one and scattering the blueberries.

Tips: Here are some other choices of crust if you do not want to use puff pastry: – short bread crust or homemade crust – homemade sugar cookie dough or store-bought sugar cookie dough – graham cracker crust Depending on which crust you go with, you can use a 9×13 sheet pan or a 12-inch pizza pan.
