This is like a classic chocolate chip cookie but with delicious M&M’s. Festive Christmas cookies are fun to make with your toddlers! This Christmas M&M cookies recipe uses simple ingredients. All you need is some basic pantry staples and the green and red M&M’s.

Ingredients: – M&M’s. Red and green holiday colors. – Granulated sugar. – All purpose flour. – Baking powder. – Fine sea salt. – Egg. – Unsalted butter at room temperature. – Vanilla extract.

1. Start with preheating the oven to 350 degrees F. 2. In a large electric mixer, add the softened butter and beat for 2-3 minutes. Then add the sugar and continue to combine until fluffy. Add the vanilla and the egg on low speed.

3. In a separate bowl, add the dry ingredients. 4. Whisk to combine the flour mixture and add slowly to the wet ingredients. 5. Gently fold in the M&M’s. Then take the cookie dough and place on to a floured surface. For best results, roll out into about a 1/2 inch thick.

6. Using a 2 inch biscuit cutter or round cookie cutter, cut out into 12 pieces. 7. Place on an ungreased prepared baking sheet and bake for 9-11 minutes or until the top of the cookies are a golden brown. (10 minutes was my ovens magic spot) Let them cool for a couple of minutes then transfer to a wire cooling rack.

8. Serve on a cookie tray, with a glass of milk or hot cocoa and enjoy! 9. Store any leftover Christmas M&M cookies in an airtight container for up to 3-4 days.erries.

Tips: 1 10 oz bag of M&M’s will make a double batch (24 cookies). Use a 2 inch biscuit cutter to give the cookies a nice round shape and thickness.
