Refreshing Broccoli Smoothie with Mango

A new way to sneak in extra veggies in your day. A refreshing and nutritious Broccoli Smoothie is the perfect afternoon pick me up!

Ingredients
  

  • 1/4 cup 2 % plain greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup broccoli florets fresh broccoli, rinsed well
  • 1 cup spinach
  • 1 cup frozen mangoes
  • 2 teaspoons date syrup
  • 3/4 cup purified water
  • 1 tablespoon hemp seeds optional

Instructions
 

  • Combine broccoli along with spinach, frozen mangoes, greek yogurt and the date syrup into a high speed blender.
  • Add the purified water.
  • Blend until smooth, about 30-45 seconds.
  • Pour into a glass. Top with hemp seeds or fresh raspberries if desired.
  • Enjoy!

Notes

Please Note:
To make this broccoli smoothie vegan, replace the greek yogurt with plant based yogurt, a ripe banana, avocado, vegan protein powder or plant based milk.
Other variations of veggie smoothies can be adding in healthy fats such as almond butter or avocado.
