Refreshing Broccoli Smoothie  with Mango

Looking for a breakfast idea that helps add more veggies into your day and promotes weight loss? You’ve come to the right place. This smoothie is delicious and made with simple ingredients.

Let’s get started!

Broccoli in a smoothie?!

A broccoli smoothie may not sound too appealing but it can be a healthy way to incorporate more nutrient dense vegetables into your diet. My green smoothie recipe is an excellent source of fiber, vitamin K, and folic acid. Broccoli is also known for its anti-inflammatory properties and may help reduce the risk of heart disease and support weight loss.

Let's get started!

In addition to the fruit, you will need a high speed blender or NutriBullet.

Ingredients: - broccoli  - frozen mango - spinach - plain greek yogurt - date syrup - filtered water

How to make

01

Combine the broccoli along with other ingredients into high-speed blender. A good idea is to taste test as you go as you might want it more sweet or creamy.

Pour into a glass

02

You can always add mortar other variations, add more mangoes or try adding banana. Honey or sweet potato can be used as substitution for date syrup. Kale is a great substitute for spinach.

To make this broccoli smoothie without dairy but have it still be creamy and smooth, you can replace the greek yogurt with plant based yogurt, a ripe banana, avocado, vegan protein powder or plant based milk.
